In this case, neighbours will split costs equally to purchase, install, and maintain the shared fence. This means you’ll have to agree on the selected model and budget.

Property owners need to respect standards, heights, etc. For instance, in Quebec, fences must not exceed 1.20 metres on the street side and 2 metres in the backyard.
